All your lights need to be working. If you require a daytime running MOT the lights must be tapped over or removed. However a bike with a daytime MOT cannot be used in bad weather, you must have lights. You must have a reflector fitted to the rear of the motorcycle in line with the centre of the number plate.
If your bike should, unfortunately, fail the MOT there is no retest fee within a 10 day limit (working days excluding weekends and bank holidays). The MOT test usually takes 30-40 minutes and you can either leave your pride and joy with us or stay and have a look at our stock whilst we carry out the test.
